Our city walk during the Oktoberfest combines a visit to the Theresienwiese, where the world’s biggest beer festival  takes place every year, with a walk through the Westend, Munich‘s district of breweries and small craft businesses. On our walk we visit the huge Bavaria Statue and adjacent Hall of Fame, momuments which King Ludwig I had erected above the Theresienwiese. Our final destination is the Oide Wiesn, a historic part of the Oktoberfest. Net walking time is about 1.5 hours. The walk takes place in any weather.
