The next “Heidelberg Talks Online” meeting takes place on Friday, September 17, 7-9 pm CET (Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Stockholm, Vienna).
The topic will be “Crisis-ridden in the Middle East: Lebanon at a crossroads”.
The speaker will be Prof. Dr. Eugene Richard Sensenig, Faculty of Law and Political Science (FLPS) at Notre Dame University, Lebanon. He has a MA in German literature and PhD in International Relations (US occupation studies) from the University of Salzburg. As cofounder of the Lebanese Emigration Research Center (LERC) and director of the Gender, Communications and Global Mobility studies unit at FLPS, he has focused on the link between sustainable development and systemic corruption. He is currently working on the connection between technology and sectarianism taking an intersectional and dialectical approach.
