Munich, 22. September 2024 0:00 to 0:00
The RG Munich travels to beautiful Regensburg, a city with an illustrious history since Roman times. Its medieval old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guided by DAAD alumnus Johannes Sicklinger, a native of Regensburg, the group goes on a tour of the old town and visits the Old Town Hall with the Reichstag Museum. The Museum documents the importance of the Holy Roman Empire for German and European history and in relation to the city’s history. From the end of the 16th century, the Reichstag was held in the Regensburg town hall.
Depending on the weather, we then have the opportunity to get to know Regensburg better on our own and/or to deepen individual aspects.
