Support Groups
Many members contribute to a diverse programme in the regional groups. We are constantly looking for support! A large team or an individual – there can be big differences. But the focus is always on enjoying exchange with people from all over the world.
How can you get involved?
There are many opportunities for participating in the regional groups of DAAD Alumni & Friends. It is up to you how much time you have and whether you wish to be involved once, sporadically or continuously.
- Organise trips or excursions.
- Offer a guided tour of a town, museum or company.
- Share your specialist knowledge and start discussions.
- Or act as a host in the “Deutschland hautnah – Germany behind the scenes” programme.

Set up new regional groups
There is no regional group in your town? But you would like to get involved? We will be happy to support you in setting up a new group.

You will receive an information package with examples of best practice and can benefit from the exchange with other regional groups. We will be happy to support you in looking for colleagues.
